The climate seniors from Switzerland are complaining to the European Court of Justice in Strasbourg and want to assert their right to health. On the website it says:
“Global warming is making people sick. We older people are one of them: Because of the more frequent and more intense heat waves, the risks for us of becoming ill or dying at an early age are increasing excessively. We must also act today to protect our descendants from even worse effects. We are suing because everything we hold dear is at stake.”
The hearing will take place on March 29 at 09:15. A small delegation from Hamburg is also there to support the Swiss women.
