Yay, there were representatives from 2 new countries today, so we are now in 10 different countries: Austria, Luxembourg, Germany, Romania, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Great Britain. The Netherlands and Belgium were missing today.
However, we want to continue to grow and have discussed how we want to do this. We want to organise campaigns, become more visible, draw up position papers and urgently need to change our image: Away from the rocking chair! Ageism is widespread among the Greens, we are not being rolled out the red carpet like the Green Youth. The OMAS against the RIGHT is a good role model. We want to establish more contacts with our MPs, we are starting with Tilly and Rasmus.
Irmgard will send out the list of interested parties from Dublin and we will see who we can contact and visit.
Gaby asks her MP Tilly what we can do with the position paper, how we can disseminate it. And how can we become more visible.
Christa makes a first draft for a position paper on barrier-free housing. This is being worked on in Brussels.
We hope that Kris is feeling better soon and will be at our next meeting with guests on 31 March.
